Frequent questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is a customer experience (CX) survey?
A structured set of questions that measures how customers perceive your product, service or brand. It shows expectations, pain points and moments of delight across key touchpoints.
What kind of questions are included?
A mix of scaled questions, 1 to 5 or NPS-style, and open-ended questions about stories, unmet needs, expectations and emotional responses. Each question carries a category tag such as #friction, #expectation_gap or #product_sentiment.
When should I send a customer experience survey?
Right after a key moment. After onboarding After a purchase After a support interaction After a feature rollout When a customer cancels or downgrades Timing matters. The clearest answers come while the experience is fresh.
What’s the difference between CX, CSAT, and NPS surveys?
CX surveys ask how customers experience your product or service. CSAT surveys ask for a satisfaction rating after a specific event. NPS asks how likely someone is to recommend you. All three are useful, and the generator blends them depending on your goal.
How many questions should I ask?
Five to eight per survey. One or two scaled rating questions and three to five open follow-ups. Short enough to finish, long enough to learn something.
What if I want deeper insights beyond a survey?
Run interviews instead of, or after, the survey. Usercall runs AI-moderated voice interviews and summarizes the themes with quotes. See how AI-moderated interviews work
