Amplitude

Talk to Amplitude users when a chart moves

Amplitude shows sessions, pages, and forms. It does not ask why the chart moved. Usercall's SDK takes in the Amplitude events you already track. You use one as a research trigger, and that user gets a short AI-moderated voice interview while the session is still fresh.

The interview uses an Amplitude event you already track.

How it works

The chart moved. Ask the person who moved it.

You keep the Amplitude project you already run.

1

Send Amplitude events in

Usercall's SDK takes them in. Autocapture events and the events you already track both count.

2

Create the research trigger

Pick the moment: fewer logins, a skipped form, a feature they left, or a cancel visit. Choose who to ask, and set the limits.

3

Read the transcript and the analysis

The interview is a short AI-moderated voice conversation. The Amplitude event stays attached to the answer.

Example triggers

Moments worth asking about

Each row is a moment. The note names the Amplitude event when Amplitude already has one.

Drop in usage

Use the usage event you already track. Ask what changed.

Fewer logins

Use the login event you already track. Ask why they came back less.

Skipped onboarding step

Form Started, with no Form Submitted. Ask which field stopped them.

Feature abandoned

They opened the feature and left. Use the event you already track for that page. Ask what they expected.

Downgrade

Use the downgrade event you already send to Amplitude. Ask what the larger plan was not doing.

Cancel page visit

Page viewed when Page URL is the cancel URL. Ask why.

Failed payment

Use the payment event you already send. Ask what happened.
