Talk to Stripe customers when billing changes

Stripe tells you the payment failed, the plan changed, or the subscription ended. It does not tell you why. Usercall's SDK takes in Stripe events. You use one as a research trigger, and that customer gets a short AI-moderated voice interview while the billing moment is still fresh.

The interview uses a Stripe event you already receive.

How it works

The billing event fired. Ask that customer.

You keep the Stripe events you already receive.

1

Send Stripe events in

Usercall's SDK takes them in.

2

Create the research trigger

Pick the billing event, choose who to ask, and set the limits. The invite goes to that customer, in context.

3

Read the transcript and the analysis

The interview is a short AI-moderated voice conversation. The Stripe event stays attached to the answer.

Downgrade

customer.subscription.updated when the price goes down. Ask what the larger plan was not doing.

Cancel scheduled

customer.subscription.updated when cancel_at_period_end is true. Ask before the period ends.

Subscription canceled

customer.subscription.deleted. Ask why, while they still remember.

Trial ending

customer.subscription.trial_will_end. Ask what was missing.
