10 Best Customer Feedback Management Tools (2026)

If you need the reason behind a score, start with Usercall. It collects feedback in AI-moderated interviews and codes survey and open-text answers you already have. If you need a scored program across a large company, Qualtrics and Medallia are the tools those teams buy. Qualtrics publishes a free Surveys account and a self-serve Strategic Research plan. Medallia does not publish a price. Hotjar is for what people do on a website. Productboard is for putting feedback on a roadmap. Sprig is for surveys inside the product.

This is ten tools, not a survey of every product in the category. Qualtrics, Medallia, Hotjar, Productboard, Sprig, SurveyMonkey, Canny, and Typeform are the names that keep showing up on comparison pages. User Intuition is last because it is a pay-per-interview option, not a feedback suite.

Comparison

Prices are from each vendor's pricing page on 2 November 2026. Ratings are the overall score on the G2 page named in that tool's section, read the same day. Contact sales means the pricing page did not show a dollar amount. A blank rating means I did not verify a G2 or Capterra score. I did not verify one for Usercall.

1. Usercall

Best for: collecting and analyzing feedback through AI-moderated interviews, plus survey and open-text analysis.

A person opens a link and talks one to one. The moderator asks follow-up questions. The answers come back as themes tied to quotes. You can also upload survey answers as CSV or XLSX, along with interviews, support tickets, or reviews, and code that file. Bring your own codebook. Themes can be renamed, added, or removed. You can ask questions about your data in a Q&A tab, and coded excerpts export as CSV.

Pricing from $89 a month. Your first interview is free. Plans start at $89 a month or $899 a year. Pay-as-you-go options are available. Your first interview is free. AI-moderated interviews in 50+ languages, and every plan includes every language. Recruit real participants for your research interviews, or bring your own. Recruiting reaches 95M+ people across our panel partners in 151 countries.

The limit is large-sample scored surveys and normative benchmarks. Use a survey tool for those, and Usercall for the reasons behind the numbers. The product page is AI-moderated user and customer interviews. Analysis is covered on Qualitative analysis that keeps every theme tied to a quote.

2. Qualtrics

Best for: enterprise teams that run surveys, text analytics, and follow-up in one experience program.

You can start a survey without talking to sales. The Qualtrics Surveys free account is $0. No credit card, and the account does not expire. It is one user, with 3 active surveys, 30 questions per survey, and 500 total responses. Buy Qualtrics Online lists Strategic Research at $420 a month, $5,040 billed yearly, for 1,000 responses shared across all users. That plan is self-serve. The same page describes a 30-day Strategic Research trial. If you do not upgrade when it ends, the account drops back to the free Surveys account.

Customer experience and employee experience plans are still contact sales. The Qualtrics pricing page says request pricing for those, and it prices them by interactions. The table uses the free account and Strategic Research, not those plans.

Qualtrics Customer Experience on G2 is 4.3 out of 5, from 752 reviews. The online Strategic Research plan stops at 1,000 responses. More responses, or a customer experience or employee experience program, still goes through sales.

3. Medallia

Best for: a large customer experience program that collects signals from many channels and routes the follow-up.

The Medallia pricing page explains Experience Data Record pricing. One record is the data from one interaction. The page does not list a dollar amount, and it does not list a free trial.

Medallia Customer Experience on G2 is 4.5 out of 5, from 212 reviews. You can read the model, and you still have to ask sales for a number.

4. Hotjar

Best for: seeing what people do on a website, then asking a short question on the page.

Hotjar's plans are on the Hotjar pricing page, which is Contentsquare's pricing. There is a free plan. It includes basic surveys. Experience Analytics Growth is shown at $39 a month when you pay yearly. The same card shows $49 crossed out, which is the monthly price before that yearly discount. Voice of Customer Growth is shown from $79 a month on the yearly view. New accounts get a 15-day trial of the Growth plans, with no card, and can stay on the free plan after that.

Hotjar by Contentsquare on G2 is 4.3 out of 5, from 345 reviews. G2's pricing block lists Experience Analytics Growth starting at €39 a month. The vendor page says European customers are billed in euros and other customers in US dollars. The limit: a recording shows where someone stopped. It does not interview them about why.

5. Productboard

Best for: product teams who need feedback attached to the roadmap.

On 2 November 2026 the Productboard pricing page lists Business and Enterprise, and it says annual billing saves 21%. It does not publish a dollar amount, and it does not list a free trial. Older roundups still quote a price per maker. Those numbers are not on the page, so they are not in this table.

Productboard on G2 is 4.2 out of 5, from 256 reviews. The limit: it organizes feedback you already collected. It does not run the interview.

6. Sprig

Best for: surveys that fire inside the product, with a summary of the answers.

The Sprig pricing page describes an enterprise survey platform. It says price scales with response volume, which capabilities you turn on, and where you field (link, email, web, mobile). It does not publish a dollar amount or a free trial.

Sprig on G2 is 4.3 out of 5, from 199 reviews. The limit: the survey still ends when the question list ends, even when later questions adapt.

7. SurveyMonkey

Best for: sending a survey this week, including on a free plan.

The SurveyMonkey individual pricing page lists Basic as free. Advantage Annual is $39 a month, $468 billed annually. Standard Monthly is $149 a month. Premier Annual is $139 a month, $1,668 billed annually. The team pricing page lists Team Advantage at $30 per user a month, billed annually, and team plans require at least 3 users. The table uses the one-user paid price, $39 a month billed yearly, because that is what a single person can start on. The $30 rate is real, and it is a 3-user purchase.

SurveyMonkey on G2 is 4.4 out of 5, from 24,046 reviews. The limit: you get the score and the comment. A thin comment still needs a follow-up.

8. Canny

Best for: a public board where customers post feature requests and vote.

The Canny pricing page lists a free plan with 25 tracked users. Pro is shown at $79 a month, billed yearly. The price changes as the number of tracked users changes. Canny on G2 is 4.5 out of 5, from 110 reviews. G2's pricing block, provided by Canny, says Pro starts at $79 for 100 tracked users a month.

The limit: votes tell you what people asked for. They do not tell you the job those people were trying to finish.

9. Typeform

Best for: a form or survey that people will finish, one question at a time.

The Typeform pricing page tells you to try the free plan. Basic is $39 a month, or $28 a month billed yearly. The page shows $468 as the yearly total of the monthly price, and a $132 saving on the yearly plan. Plus is $79 a month, or $56 a month billed yearly. Business is $129 a month, or $91 a month billed yearly. The page also says "Try free for 14 days" next to Growth Flow, which is a separate higher plan. I am not treating that line as a Basic trial. The free plan is the start I can confirm.

Typeform on G2 is 4.5 out of 5, from 1,027 reviews. G2's pricing block, supplied by Typeform, still says core plans start at $29 a month. That does not match the $28 and $39 on the pricing page, so the table uses the pricing page. The limit: a finished form is still a form. Short answers stay short.

10. User Intuition

Best for: AI-moderated interviews you pay for one at a time, when you do not want a monthly plan.

The User Intuition pricing page lists Starter at $0 a month. Voice is $30 per quality interview with your own participants. Their standard panel adds $30 per participant for recruiting, which is why the page also lists $60 with the panel. On Starter, chat is $15 and video is $60 per billable interview. Professional is $2,499 a month for 100 quality voice interviews, with a 3-month minimum. Every new account gets 3 free quality interviews, with no credit card. Those cover the platform rate. Panel recruiting is billed separately.

User Intuition on G2 is 4.9 out of 5, from 7 reviews. That is a small set. Capterra lists 5.0 from 3 reviews on its User Intuition page. The table cites G2. The limit: this is a research interview product. It is not where you run an always-on score program.

How to analyze customer feedback

A folder of comments is not an analysis. Three moves turn it into one.

Code themes

Read the open text and put two comments in the same theme only when they describe the same reason. "Too expensive" and "I could not find the export" are different themes, even if both people sound annoyed. Keep the quote with the theme so someone else can check the call.

Tag the score next to the words

Tag the source (survey, interview, review), the score if there is one, and who said it (a new customer, a person who canceled, a country). The same words from promoters and from people who scored you a 3 are different findings. A tag is a label you can filter. A theme is the reason.

Find the why behind the score

A 6 is not a reason. Read the comment next to it. If the comment is "fine" or blank, the score cannot tell you what to fix. That is when a follow-up earns its place. In Usercall you can upload the survey file as CSV or XLSX and code it, or send an AI-moderated interview to the people whose scores you do not understand. You can start from your own codebook, change the themes, ask questions about the file in the Q&A tab, and export the coded excerpts as CSV.

FAQ

What is a customer feedback management tool?

A customer feedback management tool collects feedback, organizes it, and helps a team act on it. Some tools are surveys. Some are public request boards. Some, including Usercall, run AI-moderated interviews and code open text into themes.

How do you analyze customer feedback?

Group comments that describe the same reason under one theme, and keep the quote attached. Tag each comment with the source, the score, and the segment. A score without the reason is not an analysis. If the comment is one word, follow up.

Which customer feedback tool should a small team start with?

If you need the reason behind a score and you can start this week, start with Usercall. Plans start at $89 a month or $899 a year, and the first interview is free. If you only need a survey, SurveyMonkey and Typeform both publish a free plan.

Does Qualtrics publish a starting price?

Yes, for surveys. The Qualtrics Surveys account is free ($0). Strategic Research is $420 a month, $5,040 billed yearly, for 1,000 responses. The buy-online page includes a 30-day Strategic Research trial, and if you do not upgrade it drops back to the free account. Customer experience and employee experience plans still say contact sales. Medallia, Productboard, and Sprig did not publish a starting dollar amount on 2 November 2026.

Can you upload survey answers and code them?

Yes, in Usercall. Upload survey answers as CSV or XLSX. You can bring your own codebook. Themes can be renamed, added, or removed. You can ask questions about your data in a Q&A tab, and coded excerpts export as CSV.
